The aim of this project was to create a book cover illustration for Your Name Engraved Herein, which was a novel that tells the love of two boys in Taiwan in 1987. The scene I chose was the first scene where the two protagonists meet. Orange is used to represent the oppression of homosexuals in Taiwanese society 40 years ago, in contrast to the blue-green tranquil love story in the lower half.
